More Craft Ideas for Butcher Paper

The craft ideas for butcher paper are nearly limitless. We’ve previously discussed some great craft ideas to help learning in the classroom, but there are some great art projects that you can do at home with butcher paper as well. The paper we sell is durable and high quality enough to handle any type of project you throw at it. There’s no reason to limit yourself to the ideas below, so try to do something creative with your butcher paper if you’ve already tried our ideas.
Paper Pillows – cut two identical shapes in the shape you want the pillow, but make sure to make it somewhat simple. Decorate one of the two shapes with stickers, glitter, markers or however you wish. Place something soft like cotton balls or tissue paper between the two sheets of butcher paper to act as the cushioning of the pillow. You can attach the two sides of the pillow together with staples, but for a more delicate and reliable seal you can sew the two sides together. Use a simple stich.
Picture Frames – It’s pretty easy to make a paper-covered magnetic picture frame that you can use to display your favorite family photos. First, cut  out 6x8 inch piece of chipboard, cardboard or other similar material. Then cut a 4x6 rectangle out of this piece to create a 2 inch frame. Cut out a piece of butcher paper with the same dimensions and then decorate the paper in any way you wish. Create colorful themes for whatever type of picture you plan on placing in the frame. You can create any size from you wish using this basic method, use your imagination.
